Bingham D. Edwards
During 40 years in trial practice, Bingham D. Edwards has played an instrumental role in shaping the law, both as an Alabama State Senate representative and as an attorney-advocate who has fought and won cases at the trial and appellate levels. He graduated cum laude from the University of the South in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts degree before attending the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1968. Upon graduation, Brigham had the prestigious honor of serving as a law clerk to Federal District Judge Sebourn H. Lynne from 1968 to 1969. He then served as an Assistant District Attorney from 1970 to 1973. He was later elected to Alabama State Senate Representing District 3 (Morgan and Lawrence counties) in the 1974 to 1978 term.
Mr. Edwards has been identified among the foremost practitioners of civil litigation by induction into Who’s Who in American Law, a directory published by Marquis Who’s Who, an independent publishing group providing research, analysis and reporting of keynote achievements among leaders in particular communities. In addition, he is the recipient of a prestigious Award for Excellence from Martindale-Hubbell® after being AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated for more than two decades.
